Oreo has stepped into the Marvel Universe once more with a striking addition to its range in the form of “Stuf of Doom Cookies” which have made waves since their recent release, reports Neill Barston.
The flagship Mondelez brand has gained particular renown for partnering with major movie franchises over the years, which have kept pace with fans’ demands for edible merch based on screen favourites.
Its new release features a Masked Decadence flavor with chocolate graham and toasted marshmallow-flavored creme and features an embossment of Doctor Doom’s infamous mask.
Furthermore, there’s an added twist with the brand’s innovative colour-changing technology, that have been made with a special black creme that turns your tongue green.
As the company explained, fans can combine the front of all four special-edition Marvel Oreo Stuf of LEgands and Stuf of Doom packs to create a continuous poster of the Marvel and Oreo collective universe. The packs also have comic depictions of Doctor Doom, illustrated by renowned Marvel Comics artist Todd Nauck.
Oreo cakesters
Ahead of this year’s Sweets & Snacks Expo, the business has been notably busy in expanding other areas of its portfolio, including its established Oreo Cakesters.

As the company noted, while snack cakes are a beloved treat, consumer feedback often points to one major barrier to repeat purchase: dryness in many products . Research also shows that modern snackers are gravitating towards a multi-textural experience (75%) and convenient formats (33%).
In response to this, the OREO brand has officially relaunched its iconic OREO Cakesters with newly formulated and even softer recipe, available in new format sizes. Its reformulated offering features a pillowy cake and creme filling, aiming to deliver a satisfying, multi-textural experience.
These are available in original, golden, and double chocolate, as well as on-the-go formats in three sizes, which have been designed to target busy Gen Z and Millennial parents.
