Luxury chocolate brand Läderach has moved to expand its presence in the UK, through opening its sixth store in London this month, at High Street, Kensington, representing its 200th site globally, writes Neill Barston.
The Swiss premium chocolatier has reported a strong performance with British consumers, which has seen the business launch a flagship regional retail location on Regent Street, as well as Westfield shopping centre and concession in Harrods’ Chocolate Hall.
As the company noted, its latest location form part of an ambitious plan to double its UK footprint within the next year, reinforcing its commitment to making its fresh, artisan Swiss chocolate more accessible.
“We are thrilled to open in one of London’s most iconic shopping areas, High Street Kensington,” said Stephan Stegen, UK General Manager of Läderach. “This new store reflects our confidence in the UK market and our customers’ growing appreciation for premium Swiss chocolate. With plans to double our presence in the UK over the next 12 months, we are excited to bring our handcrafted chocolates to even more locations across the country, including an upcoming location outside of the capital.”

As the company revealed, the High Street Kensington store will feature Läderach’s full product range and a premium in-store experience, offering customers the chance to explore a wide variety of chocolates, all expertly crafted in Switzerland. This includes the brand’s signature FrischSchoggi counter, featuring chocolate slabs that can be snapped by hand and sold by weight, with additional signature chocolate offerings include single-origin tablet bars, chocolate popcorn, seasonal collections and regular new product innovations.
With a growing UK customer base and a global reputation for excellence, Läderach is poised for further growth in the market, with the new store another milestone in Läderach’s mission to deliver high-quality, freshly-made Swiss chocolate to discerning customers across the UK and bring joy to everyday moments in life.
