UK’s vegan-friendly H!P chocolate brand launches first white variety bar

Sustainable oat milk chocolate brand, H!P (Happiness in Plants), is expanding its series with a new Berry Crunch white chocolate vegan-friendly bar.

As the business noted, the release is its first  white chocolate launch, offering a  dairy free alternative to traditional milk chocolate, the new sweet and fruity bar will be available via its website.

The latest arrival has been developed in response to consumer demand for a white chocolate variant, the vegan-friendly bar blends sustainably-sourced single origin Colombian cocoa with creamy oat milk, crunchy biscuit pieces and delicious dried raspberries and blueberries. Berry Crunch also has approximately 30% less sugar than the average high street dairy white chocolate bar and more cocoa too at 41%.

A fruity taste sensation that’s perfect for summer snacking, the bar promises to deliver the ultimate dairy free white chocolate fix.

Featuring the brand’s signature eye-catching, contemporary design, H!P Berry Crunch is 100% eco-friendly featuring plastic free packaging that’s also completely recyclable, in line with the brand’s sustainable ethos.

H!P is the brainchild of James Cadbury, the founder of ethical, luxury chocolate brand, Love Cocoa and the great-great-great grandson of the original Mr John Cadbury), welcomed the latest addition to the series. He said “White chocolate sales in the UK hit £179million in 2020 (Kantar Worldpanel) and continue to perform strongly.

“Innovation in this segment is key to driving sales and we believe this new H!P creation ticks all the boxes. The brand’s success is testament to the ever-growing popularity of oat milk, which has firmly achieved mainstream status and is more sustainable to produce versus traditional dairy chocolate. We can’t wait to hear what H!P fans think of this new bar!”

H!P is also available in Creamy & Smooth, Salty Pretzel, Cookies No Cream, Salted Caramel and Salted Honeycomb variants. They can be found in Ocado, Booth’s, Selfridges, Whole Food and via Getir and Gopuff.
