Interpack organisers confirm May 2023 for next global industry showcase

Organisers of the major global Interpack packaging and processing trade fair have confirmed the dates of the next event, which will now be held between 4-10 May, 2023, at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany, writes Neill Barston.

The international equipment and systems showcase had been due to be staged on a revised timeline of this March from its original slot of May 2020, but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic eventually forced its cancellation.

Many of the key businesses set to have exhibited last year have subsequently produced their own virtual showcases for machinery that would have been seen by the industry at the event. The last Interpack in May 2017, draw a global audience of 170,000 across the week-long event.

Interested companies for the 2023 event from the packaging sector and the associated processing industry will be able to register online at www.interpack.com from the end of March/beginning of April provided all goes to plan.

Exhibitors who were approved for interpack 2021, which was cancelled due to the pandemic, have already been able to reserve their stand positions for the next show, and will now be able to rebook when they register.

An additional element, Components will take place in parallel with interpack, which is oriented towards the supplier sector for the packaging and processing industry. Registration for this will be in the same period as interpack by accessing www.packaging-components.com.

Furthermore, www.interpack.com and www.packaging-components.com will regularly provide information on industry trends and innovations up until the next edition of both trade fairs. The online presence of the upcoming interpack and components 2023 is also being built up and expanded.
