Pemberton & Whitefoord design group works on Ferrero’s festive range

Creative design business Pemberton & Whitefoord (P&W) has helped Ferrero to launch a selection of new UK Kinder products across its seasonal portfolio, as the confectioner targets the key Christmas retail period.

The 2020 seasonal range features old favourites and new products, including: Kinder Chocolate Happy Advent Calendar, Kinder Chocolate Happy Bag and Kinder Chocolate Mini Advent Calendar.

The popular Kinder Chocolate Mini Fluffy Toy range has also been extended to include a Squirrel and a Sloth. The brand’s Kinder Surprise 75g Santa proved to be the No.1 novelty product in the impulse category during the Christmas period in 2019, so this year new toys have been added.

There is now a team of eight festive friends. The brand now includes new 55g and 110g hollow Santa figures. and the Kinder Surprise 220g egg has been updated with two new toy ranges. The Kinder Surprise 100g features the new ‘Reindeers in Lunapark’ range of movable toys.

Across all packs, P&W has included the distinctive Kinder “red and white collata”, providing strong brand recognition when the products are merchandised within busy festive confectionery fixtures.

Adrian Whitefoord, P&W’s Co-Founder and Partner commented: “Originality and creativity is a vital part of developing the Kinder seasonal category. Our team always injects festive joy into our creative conclusions for the brand, helping Kinder products appeal to the child in all of us. A spirit of seasonal joy is needed now more than ever at a time when many families will sadly be unable to spend the festive period together.”

Levi Boorer, Customer Development Director at Ferrero, remarked about the range: “In addition to the popular established lines, we have been developing a number of new products for Christmas 2020. We’re optimistic that we can still deliver the same levels of emotional engagement in the shopping moment – regardless of how and where the celebrations take place this year.”
