Sternchemie presents declaration-friendly lecithins and food lipids

At this year’s IFT Food Expo in New Orleans, Sternchemie, an international supplier of lecithins and food lipids, is focusing on clean label solutions that can be used for baked goods and confections.

In lecithins, the company offers non-GMO, hypoallergenic and certified organic products that can be used for baked goods and confections, instant powders and nutritional supplements. A particular highlight of Sternchemie’s offerings on display is its organic sunflower-based lecithin, Greencithin S.

In addition to lecithin the company also offers MCT oil, in sustainable RSPO-compliant as well as palm-free versions. Being colourless, odourless and flavourless, this low-viscosity oil is ideal for many products, from baked goods and confections, to baby food and sports nutrition. Sternchemie also offers powdered versions of MCT that are suitable for vegan, ketogenic and other on-trend nutrition forms.

Other products are RSPO SG-certified red palm oil, in high demand as a natural food colouring, as well as (vegan) coconut milk power for cold and hot foods, baked goods and confections, and ice cream.
