Crown Aerosols & Specialty Packaging Europe has collaborated with Mondelēz International, the Cadbury Foundation and Help for Heroes to create a limited edition tin for the charity.

The package, which contains the brand’s chocolate miniature bars, helps promote the foundation’s work with service personnel and military veterans with injuries, illnesses and wounds sustained while serving in the British Armed Forces.

The tin represents the first collaboration between Crown and Mondelēz to support this cause.

Mondelēz places high value on the benefits of metal packaging for its premium products and the format proved ideal for this initiative. Taking on the design of a drum, the Help for Heroes Cadbury tin features the slogan ‘drumming up support,’ and can be used by consumers as a keepsake.

Dec Duggan, senior brand manager for Christmas and Halloween at Mondelēz, says, “We chose Crown as our packaging partner due to its diverse market knowledge and expertise, as well as its ability to add value at every stage of the project – from initial design to the final, completed tin.”

In terms of sustainability, the metal used in the tin’s construction is infinitely recyclable.

The Help for Heroes Limited Edition tin for Cadbury is available at Tesco stores in the UK.
