A significant new addition has been made to the Reese’s brand, which has moved to extend its series with its Caramel Block and White Peanut Butter Cup Trio, writes Neill Barston.
The group has moved to deliver a number of extended innovations in the past year, with the recent Sweets & Snacks Expo laying the ground for fresh innovation for the business – as well as a pledge from its senior management to implement a focus on delivering quality chocolate across the range in response to recent consumer feedback.
As Reese’s Caramel Block responds to the continued popularity of sweet-and-salty flavour profiles, tapping into the ‘swalty’ and ‘swavory’ trends gaining momentum in 2026. Combining Reese’s signature peanut butter and milk chocolate flavour with caramel, the launch offers a contemporary take on the brand’s much-loved flavour combination.
Meanwhile, Reese’s White Peanut Butter Cup Trio brings further variety to the range, offering consumers another way to enjoy the much loved Peanut Butter Cup Trio in a white chocolate flavour, for a delicious peanut butter treat.
From this month, the products will be available for purchase in Tesco and Sainsbury’s stores nationwide: Caramel Block, 90g, RRP £1.75, White Peanut Butter Cup Trio, 59g, RRP £1.25
Jackson Hitchon, General Manager of Asia, EMEA & World Travel Retail at The Hershey Company comments on the new innovations: He said: “We’re always looking for new ways to bring excitement to the confectionery category while staying true to the unmistakable flavour combination that consumers know and love from Reese’s.
“The launch of Reese’s Caramel Block and Reese’s White Peanut Butter Cup Trio does exactly that, offering a new way to enjoy the iconic Peanut butter cups in a new format and extending our offering in the blocks category with a caramel twist.”
