New developments at Tangerine

Tangerine Confectionery is launching a new range of truffles by Danish chocolatier Anthon Berg.

The Dark Velvet range includes Remy Martin Cognac truffle is a rich nut truffle with classic Remy Cognac, combined with a drop of plum juice, and coated in dark chocolat. The Piper-Heidsieck variety has a white chocolate filling, with Piper-Heidsieck, a touch of white grape juice, and is encased in dark chocolate.
Both come in 148g box formats containing 12 truffles with a recommended retail price of £5.99.

In related news, Tangerine has been awarded Halal Food Authority accreditation for products within its Barratt, MOJO, Princess and Taveners Proper Sweets ranges.

The HFA Seal of Approval comprises of a number of stringent checks by independent food technologists and auditors. These assess every stage of food production, from initial sourcing of ingredients to finished packaging. Over 150 products have been approved and all of Tangerine Confectionery’s eight UK production sites have been approved for the production of Halal products.
