Arsenic in sugar beet

Arsenic and lead has been discovered by UK authorities in unmolassed sugar beet pulp pellets exported from Austria, the European Union’s RASFF food product consumer safety alert system has warned.

Meanwhile, Finnish health authorities have reported the presence of norovirus in frozen raspberries from Poland.
