A core range of TNA’s confectionery and snacking equipment solutions will be taking centre stage at this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing event in Dubai, reports Neill Barston.

Notably, as the Australian-headquartered company observed, manufacturers of sweets and snacks in the Middle East and North Africa are navigating an increasingly dynamic operating environment.

They will be joining an anticipated final tally of over 2,500 machinery, ingredients and systems companies from across sectors at the Dubai World Trade Centre between 3-5 November, with Confectionery Production set to play a notable role again a media partner for the event.

The company, which has recently released the Quantum, the latest iteration of its flagship robag series of vertical form, fill and seal packaging systems, has also increasingly moved to supplying total line solutions for companies, recognising clear demand in the market.

As the business noted, with a combination of rising consumer expectations, changing retailer requirements, labour constraints, geopolitical uncertainty and ongoing pressure to improve efficiency, the need for more  agile and resilient production operations has never been more apparent.

Clearly, with manufacturers looking to build greater flexibility into their businesses, many are moving beyond individual machines and seeking partners that can support the entire production journey.

For its part, at Stand A4-4, Hall 4, Gulfood Manufacturing 2026, TNA Solutions will highlight its role as a complete line solutions partner for confectionery producers. With decades of experience delivering both greenfield and brownfield projects, the company helps manufacturers simplify operations, reduce complexity and create production environments designed to support long-term growth and operational resilience.

From project planning and line design through to commissioning, servicing and future upgrades, the firm provides a single partner approach that simplifies responsibility and streamlines implementation. Rather than managing multiple equipment suppliers, manufacturers benefit from one point of contact and clear accountability across the entire production line. This integrated approach helps improve coordination, accelerate decision-making and build production systems that can adapt more effectively to changing business needs.

The value of this approach is demonstrated by regional manufacturers such as Muscat Chips. Commenting on the delivery of a fully integrated greenfield snack production line, Fahad Mohammed Riaz, Vice Chairman, Mohammed Riaz & Partner LLC, said: “TNA’s full responsibility and accountability for the entire project gave us peace of mind. We are now building on this momentum and planning a second line to support future growth.”

TNA’s confectionery expertise spans the entire production process, from kitchen operations and starch conditioning through to depositing, product finishing, packaging and case packing. By taking a consultative approach to system design and integration, the company helps manufacturers create production lines that deliver reliability, flexibility and future-ready performance.

Beyond equipment, TNA’s commitment continues throughout the life of the line through comprehensive aftermarket support and local service capabilities. Manufacturers across the region have access to locally stocked spare parts, field service engineers and a regional technical helpdesk in Dubai, backed by a global network of experts. For customers operating in remote or less accessible locations, remote diagnostics and technical support help accelerate troubleshooting, minimise downtime and maintain production continuity.
