Godiva delivers key premium Easter chocolate selections

Belgian-founded Godiva is celebrating the Easter series with an engaging range of premium chocolate offerings, including a centenary-marking centrepiece range of luxury eggs, writes Neill Barston.

As Confectionery Production has previously reported, the company has made significant investment in rebranding surrounding the firm’s 100 years of heritage within the sector. 

This has included notable screen and online marketing campaigns that have centred on a reimagined portrayal of Lady Godiva, asserted represents confidence and empowerment. Moreover, the brand’s central character has been portrayed by Gossip Girl screen star, Leighton Meester, in a striking television ad for the luxury chocolate series. 

As the company added regarding its rebrand, the latest visual refresh has been developed in partnership with BTEC Paris, the new identity will roll out across packaging, retail stores and digital experience, setting the new standard for modern luxury in premium chocolate. The brand’s revamp comes as it targets renewed global growth and reaching out to new audiences.

In addition, the company explained, its latest Easter series includes a premium 18 piece turquoise gift box with pink ribbon filled with colourfully wrapped egg pieces, designed for spring gifting.

The assortment contains five unique egg-shaped chocolate pieces include options such as its Dark Chocolate 85% Cacao Ganache Egg created with chocolate ganache in a dark chocolate shell.

There is also a three-piece Dark Chocolate Raspberry Ganache Egg, which is a raspberry ganache in a dark chocolate shell, with additional options including a four-piece Milk Chocolate Egg, Milk Chocolate Speculoos Mousse Egg, and a 
four pieces – Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Praliné Egg, created with hazelnut praliné in a milk chocolate shell

Furthermore, the company is also releasing its premium bunny-shaped tin that is also targeting the prime spring gifting market. As the business noted, its striking container can be kept as a keepsake long after chocolate has been enjoyed.

This assortment contains a mix of 15 individually wrapped Masterpiece chocolates- it has five pieces: Decadent Dark Chocolate with Ganache, 5 pieces: Heavenly Milk Chocolate with Ganache, as well as 5 pieces: Dark Chocolate with Smooth Caramel.
