Hames Chocolates joins nominees for World Confectionery Conference honours

The new Hames Munch Pouch has been released as a summer sharing treat.
UK confectionery group, Hames Chocolates has released its latest series of treats, Munch Pouches, targeting the sharing and social occasion market, reports Neill Barston.
The new release, which is also among entrants for our World Confectionery Awards next month, is billed as a moreish, fun-sized treat bag that is ideal for summer gatherings.
There’s still a final chance to enter this year’s accolades, which will be presented at our World Confectionery Conference on 11 September at the Marriott Hotel, Brussels, Belgium. This year’s awards feature a total of six categories, across equipment, best finished product, ingredients, team of the year, emerging enterprise, and sustainability initiative of the year.
As for its entry, Lincolnshire-based Hames, which has a specialism in private label manufacturing, noted that industry research showing that two in five (40%) consumers plan to go out less often but still want affordable indulgence when treating themselves or entertaining at home (CGA New industry Report, 2023), which prompted the development of its latest offering.
Available now, the range includes a delicious selection of tempting flavours and combinations, including Milk Chocolate Coated Honeycomb, Milk Chocolate Truffles, Milk Chocolate Coated Fudge, and more.
