Tony’s Chocolonely revives special edition Oxfam bars in Glastonbury ticket giveaway

After a previous successful initiative, Dutch ethically focused confectionery brand Tony’s Chocolonely, is again set to give away five pairs of tickets to the Glastonbury Festival, through exclusive limited edition bars available through Oxfam, writes Neill Barston.

The company is reviving a campaign it launched three years ago that proved hugely popular, especially given just how hard it is for music fans to gain entry to the globally-renowned event.

Underlining that fact, the final batch of tickets that organisers had reserved went on sale yesterday and sold out within a matter of minutes. The show’s headline acts this year include Neil Young, The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo.

As the company noted, Tony’s aimed to put the “fun” in their fundamental belief in the right to equality with a giveaway like no other. This isn’t just about scoring tickets to the UK’s most iconic music festival. Right now, there are still 1.56 million cases of child labour and widespread deforestation present in the chocolate industry in Ghana and Côte d’ Ivoire today. The root cause of this exploitation of people and planet in the cocoa industry is poverty.

This is why this collaboration matters. Every limited edition Tony’s bar sold helps tackle inequality worldwide, supporting farmers in West Africa and communities all around the world while giving you a chance to win Glastonbury tickets and, of course, enjoy a very delicious treat.

So far, this impactful collaboration has raised £125,000 and given 20 fans an unforgettable Glastonbury experience. This year it could be your turn! Continuing the tradition, Tony’s will be launching limited-edition Glastonbury X Tony’s Chocolonely bars exclusively for Oxfam in two new flavours: Everything bar and Dark bar 70% (vegan & nut free). making sure everyone can join the fun and hunt for those highly sought-after tickets to The Festival.

The bars will have five hidden Choco Coupons that can each be redeemed for tickets to the famous Glastonbury Festival 2025 where the lucky winners will be able to see global music icons including The 1975, Neil Young, Olivia Rodrigo, Rod Stewart, and many more – an unforgettable experience with a true impact.

Nicola Matthews, UKI Head of Marketing at Tony’s Chocolonely said: “This collaboration is about more than chocolate or Glastonbury tickets, it’s about using delicious treats and music to shine a light on serious issues like poverty and inequality. Partnering with Oxfam and Glastonbury for a third year shows just how powerful collective action can be. Every bar bought is a step toward a fairer cocoa industry and a fairer world and that’s something worth celebrating.”

Lorna Fallon, Oxfam’s Trading Director, said: “We’re so excited to be partnering with Tony’s Chocolonely and Glastonbury for a third year on this amazing prize giveaway exclusively for Oxfam customers. This remains an incredible opportunity to give five lucky shoppers the chance to go to the Festival this year. It means even more knowing all the money raised from these fantastic chocolate bars goes towards Oxfam’s crucial work fighting poverty and inequality around the world. The winning bars could be anywhere across our shop network and the Oxfam Online Shop – the race is definitely on!”
