Executive board of Beneo strengthened with new key member
Functional ingredients business, Beneo, has confirmed that Dr Mike Eberle has joined its ranks as a member of the globally-focused company’s executive board, writes Neill Barston.
He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, and brings nearly three decades of experience within the international food and beverage sector to the new role.
As the company noted, Eberle started his career with positions at Unilever in both Germany and The Netherlands. Following this, he has held leadership roles in production, supply chain, logistics, and operations at leading food and drink manufacturers. Most recently, he was positioned as the Chief Operations Officer at Rotkäppchen, a sparkling wine producer based in Germany.
Moreover, as part of his post, the new board member will take on duties managing production, technology, supply chains, quality, raw material, health, safety and environmental protection, as well as sustainability. His appointment comes at a pivotal time, as Beneo continues to focus on the sustainable development of its plant-based functional ingredients portfolio.
