Spooky delights served up by Ole & Steen Danish bakery chain

A host of suitably spooky delights have been unveiled by Danish bakery, Ole & Steen, which is adding a touch of hocus pocus to their stores with some supernaturally fine confectionery creations, reports Neill Barston.

The business has stores across Copenhagen, London and New York, and had prided itself on its true Scandinavian feel and authentic, high-quality ranges that include its renowned Cinnamon Social,  to authentic breads representing its home nation.

Notably, there has been significant expansion for the business in the UK, and from 2016, it has opened a total of 26 stores in London, as the company seeks to further enhance its global presence.

The company’s latest Halloween range includes its ‘Eye see You,’ a carrot muffin covered in rich cream-cheese frosting, sprinkled with scarlet powder and topped with a chocolate eyeball (£3.45., Boo the Bat’: A dark chocolate muffin topped with a layer of rich chocolate frosting, googly eyes and bat wings (£3.45). These devilish delights are joined by its Spooky Marshmallow Whip, taking the form of a light marzipan base wrapped in marshmallow, dipped in white chocolate and decorated with a charming dark chocolate face (£3.95.)

The Halloween selection will also be available to Click and Collect via the Ole & Steen loyalty app, or via Deliveroo or at all Ole & Steen bakeries.
