Baker Perkins confirms speaker for our upcoming World Confectionery Conference

British-based Baker Perkins equipment and systems firm has named Tony Prange, process team manager for the business, as the company’s speaker for our fast-approaching World Confectionery Conference.
The experienced industry expert has worked for the Peterborough company since graduating in mechanical engineering in 1990, and has worked on a broad range of projects across sectors including delivering solutions for sweets and snacks manufacturers in multiple locations.
There’s still time to register for our event on 9 September through the following link, which take place in Brussels on 9 September, featuring a broad representation of our combined confectionery, snacks and bakery industries including latest trends in equipment, ingredients, and systems for our vibrant sectors.
As the company explained, Tony’s specialist confectionery role within Baker Perkins offers a wide range of challenges, including overseeing its UK Innovation Centre, where the business works with customers from across market segments.
Its team of process engineers, food technologists and graduates conduct product and process trials for existing and new clients, with the company having enjoyed success with its focus on starch-free depositing.
Tony has supported many customers worldwide during both equipment installation and new product launches. This includes a mix of confectionery, nutraceutical and CBD edibles clients, and he is keenly anticipating engaging with our conference next month.
Neill Barston, editor of Confectionery Production magazine, welcomed the event’s latest addition to the line-up, which is almost complete for this year’s event.
He said: “We have been very impressed by the industry response to our key sector showcase that is almost upon us, so it’s great to have Baker Perkins on board for the event, and Tony’s technical knowledge built up over the past three decades will certainly be of strong interest to our audience. We’re almost there with the planning of our showcase, but we still have one or two final speaking opportunities, so if please do get in touch to avoid missing out on what is likely to be a particularly special event.”
