Traiteur de Paris releases latest bakery series for snack professionals

Traiteur de Paris, manufacturer of frozen cakes and pastries, is expanding its La Bakery range devised for
snack professionals, with Le Gourmand – Chocolate Banana Cake.

As the company noted, the series is designed in an individual product format targeting the market for high quality daytime snacking.

It combines chocolate and banana in its melting gateau, sprinkled with pure butter chocolate crumble to give it a crunchy touch. The range’s recipe contains high quality natural raw ingredients, including dark chocolate with 58% cocoa, Rainforest Alliance certified, whole free-range eggs, butter, sugar and French wheat flour.

Inspired by small Parisian brioche buns, its beautifully round shape is a delicious reminder of traditional French
bakeries. The Le Gourmand – Chocolate Banana Cake will therefore find its place just as well as a dessert offer
in a bakery as it will in a Coffee Shop. With its non-crumbly texture, it is also designed for on the go consumption.

Due to its generous 95 g format it can be offered as a dessert or combined with a hot drink to provide a breakfast or tea-time formula. As for preparation, this cake is ready to serve after just defrosting or being warmed quickly in the oven. It keeps for up to five days at room temperature.
