Sacmi Packaging and Chocolate names general manager for German and Swiss region
Italian-based Sacmi Packaging and Chocolate has named Herbert Hahnenkamp as its new general manager for the German, Austria and Switzerland (DACH) region, writes Neill Barston.
Having initiated his role last month, he has enjoyed a long-standing career in the sector, gaining strong strategic and sales expertise through his respective positions.
Most recently, he worked as a management consultant, as well as having been managing director for the German division of the weighing and packaging business, Ishida, where he achieved notable growth for the business within the food production market.
In addition to his appointment, Simone Seitz takes on the role of managing sales & operations, and she is also new to the Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate management team.
In her operating activities during 20 years in sales and marketing at Ishida, she was responsible for the achievement of ambitious business growth. Born in Schwäbisch Hall, she grew up in the German Packaging Valley, and used her strong network of contacts to great effect in her sector.
Hahnenkamp and Seitz are looking forward to their new tasks and want to develop Sacmi Packaging & Chocolate into an even stronger brand.

Finally, the clear signals from the headquarters strongly support the significant investment in direct structures in the DACH region with product development and capacity expansion.
