Gerhard Schubert confirms packaging lines for ProPak China

German-headquartered packaging specialist Gerhard Schubert has confirmed the company will be showcasing its top-loading packaging technology (TLM) at ProPak China in Shanghai next month.

Taking place from 19-21 June, the event is set to offer major insights into sector developments in the region, which has seen a number of European companies set up dedicated production facilities in the region.

As Schubert noted, its modular machines package products of all types and from all industries  including confectionery, into trays, cartons, boxes, bottles, tubes or flowpacks. Thanks to a strong focus on mechanics combined with intelligent control systems, the machines have been designed with a high level of overall line efficiency.

Having become firmly established within the top-loading packaging machines segment, the company has been present and available to customers in China since 2018 with a sales and service subsidiary in the Shanghai area.

At ProPak China, the business will be demonstrating its intelligent pick & place technology with a four-axis robot that combines small TLM machine frames printed using 3D technology to form miniature packaging systems.

“With our highly flexible, robot-based packaging machines, we offer automation solutions with which manufacturers in all industries can significantly increase their productivity and therefore their competitiveness,” says Marcel Kiessling, managing director.

As the company added, it relies on an interplay of simple mechanics, intelligent control technology and high modularity for its packaging systems. The performance spectrum ranges from simple to customised, highly demanding tasks, which the company has found a broad market for since the recent introduction of its Lightline series.

The company will be appearing at ProPak China at Hall 5.1, Booth 5C55, www.propakchina.com/en
