Packaging health and safety seminar examines new international standards

A seminar focusing on new international health and safety standards affecting the packaging industry is to take place at Castell Safety International in London.

The event, which takes place tomorrow (Wednesday, 11th April), is jointly organised by Castel and its consultancy business HSAS, examines the new global ISO45001 benchmark.

As part of the seminar, which runs between 2pm and 4pm, there will be a range of discussion on areas that businesses should examine with health and safety workplace measures. It will also include a tour of the Castell engineering workshop.

There will also be a podcast from Ray Johnson, South East council member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and board member of Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.

This will outline the steps that brokers and underwriters would like to see to ensure that premiums are not significantly increased and businesses protected.
