Confectioner unveils new packaging for sweets and lollipops

UK-based confectionery manufacturer Joseph Dobson & Sons has revamped new packaging and introduced new formats for its boiled sweets and mega lollipops range.

Claire Wollaston, marketing manager for Dobson’s, says, “We are excited about the new packaging, this is a new era for us, our much-loved sweets and lollies needed a new look however we also wanted to keep our good name and tradition within the UK market place which we are well known for, we are very lucky to have an extremely loyal customer base who expect a certain level of quality and we also hope to attract a wider audience.”

CEO Miriam Walshaw adds, “This year has given us some significant success with the launch of new products to our portfolio and with our e-commerce website being launched within the next quarter we feel the new look packaging will go hand in hand.”

The new packaging features an updated logo and new layout. It is hoped the new look will bring the brand’s traditional packaging up to date.
