Tate & Lyle opens Mexican service centre

Tate & Lyle has opened a technical service centre in Mexico City.

The site offers expertise in the innovative, versatile application of ingredients that support new product development and line extensions in beverage, bakery and confectionery, convenience, dairy and snack categories.

The centre applies the latest technology available for sweeteners, wellness ingredients and texturants, including a multi-functional and scale-up high performance colloid mill, a pilot scale convection oven plus a high precision texture analyser, to test the application and behaviour of products.
