Hershey’s major snacking brand, Dot’s Pretzels, has unveiled a new limited-edition Chipotle Honey edition, amid notable category growth for the company within the segment, writes Neill Barston.

As the company asserted, the popular pretzels are among market leaders for the category for ‘big game’ football occasions, with its latest offering said to have a bold, buttery-rich flavor, signature seasoning and crunch.

Moreover, as the company observed, it’s aiming to bring a winning mindset to life, as Dot’s brand partners with Rookie Football Star, Caleb Downs, whose own pregame rituals — the routines and small, deliberate choices that get him ready for kickoff — mirror the traditions fans build around every watch party, tailgate and living-room huddle.

“Winning seasons are built with the right ingredients, and so are great game-day spreads,” said Natalie Perera, VP of Salty Snacks at The Hershey Company. “What makes Dot’s Pretzels different is the bold, buttery-rich flavor, signature seasoning and unmistakable crunch that fans keep coming back to every football season. Dot’s Original Pretzels have earned a place at the center of game day, and with limited-time Dot’s Chipotle Honey, we’re giving fans a sweet and smoky new way to shake up their spread.”

Caleb Downs, Rookie Football star and Dot’s brand partner, also welcomed his involvement in the brand’s latest sporting association.

He remarked: “I’m big on having a routine before a game. The preparation, the little things you do the same way every time – it all helps you feel ready when kickoff comes. Fans have those rituals, too, whether it’s what they wear, what they watch, or what they have on the table.

“Dot’s Pretzels fits right into that for me, and the new limited-time Dot’s Chipotle Honey Pretzels have quickly become a game-day favorite. That sweet and smoky flavor is a fun change of pace, and it’s definitely a snack I’ve added to my routine.”
