Future industry leadership candidates revealed with NCA’s latest intake

The latest annual intake of aspiring industry management candidates have been confirmed for the National Confectioners Association Future Leadership Programme, reports Neill Barston.

As our title has previously covered, the initiative, which is now in its 10 year of operating in the US market, has been regarded as instrumental in helping develop the professional careers of many talented individuals who have gone on to play significant roles within their respective companies, and within the sector at large.

The venture has helped in a number of aspects, including providing clear major networking opportunities, as well as providing enhanced professional development.

For the class of 2026, a number of candidates working within confectionery majors have been selected.

The intake includes: Isabel Coté, Director of Trade Marketing, Storck USA LP, Ashley Giovinazzo, Senior Manager, Regulatory, Ferrara, Ginny Landt, Technical Sales Manager, Mantrose-Haeuser Co., Inc, Sarah Mann, R&D Manager and Product Expert, Barry Callebaut Group,  Regina Melton, Business Manager, CSN | HWY Partners – Premier Specialty, Rachel Quiring, Sustainability Manager, Blommer Chocolate Company. Brantley Taylor, Client Development Manager, Burdette Beckmann, Inc. Andrew Zoll, Region Director, Convenience, Mondelēz International.

John Downs, president & CEO of the National Confectioners Association, welcomed the latest round of candidates, whom he believed would benefit tremendously from the initiative.

He commented: “The Future Leaders embody the passion, ingenuity, and commitment that define the confectionery industry.

“Through the Future Leadership Program, we’re equipping the next generation with experiences and connections to make a lasting impact. I’m excited to welcome this impressive class and work alongside them in shaping our industry’s future.”

As the NCA explained, the initiative will see participants matched with a highly regarded industry leader as a mentor. They are also invited to attend NCA’s signature events and other industry gatherings, including the State of the Industry Conference, Sweets & Snacks Expo, NCA’s Leadership Summit, the Washington Forum, and Candy Hall of Fame weekend that are all key elements of the industry’s presence in the region.
