Bell Flavors & Fragrances has extended its line of sodium reduction solutions named ReduxSo, to address concerns about food and beverage products containing less salt but maintaining their taste profile.

Salt plays a key role in controlling yeast fermentation and improving the gluten structure of baked goods.

Bell’s flavourists have created a variety of solutions to meet its customer’s sodium reduction needs across a variety of applications. The natural flavours are available in kosher, halal, non-GMO, FDA and USDA compliant forms and can easily achieve 35 per cent sodium reduction in finished products.
