Welsh chocolate packaging plant closes
The Anson Packaging in Wrexham, North Wales is to close after a dip in orders from chocolate and bakery manufacturers.
This comes only 12 months after it bought out previous owners EP Packaging, rescuing the operation from bankruptcy.
The plant has been operating since 1993 making thermo-formed plastic trays for the bakery and confectionery industries. The company may also consider job cuts at two other Cambridgeshire, UK sites.
