Ingredients firm expands in India

Wild, the natural ingredients company, is set to expand its business activities in India, having strengthened its capacity and product portfolio. The company has expanded its production capabilities at its site in Tarapur and opened a new site in Lucknow, while the operations in Mumbai have moved into larger facilities.

The site in Tarapur, which specializes in mint applications, has been expanded to include a new production unit for fruit flavours.

The new facility in Andheri, Mumbai, includes a new application lab for beverage developments, as well as a well-equipped food lab focusing on mint and confectionery applications. Around 30 employees are currently working in Mumbai, and the facilities are designed to accommodate further growth.

The new site in Lucknow in northern India includes an analytical lab and

purchasing office. The employees there are responsible for purchasing and assessing raw materials themselves.

The company hopes that the three new locations will enable it to support its global customers while continuing to expand its presence in India.
