Caobisco elects new president

29 June 2012 – Caobisco has elected Tobias Bachmüller, CEO of Katjes Fassin GmbH + Co in Germany, as president, for a two year mandate. He succeeds Didier Focking, Nestlé.

Bachmüller is a lawyer who started his professional career in the food industry in 1992 when he became marketing director of Chocolate for Kraft Foods, Bremen. He left Kraft Foods in 1996 to join Katjes Fassin GmbH + Co.

Bachmüller is also Vice-president of the Bundersverband der Deutschen Süßwarenindustrie (BDSI), the German Confectionery Association.

Caobisco also elected two new Vice-Presidents: Patrick Poirrier, CEO of Cemoi Chocolatier and Alessandro Cagli, director of European Affairs at Ferrero.
