Kerry Group completes acquisition

5 December 2011 – Kerry has completed the acquisition of Cargill’s global flavours business.

Cargill Flavor Systems with annual revenues of approximately $200 (€148.7m). million was acquired for a total consideration of $230m (€171m). The acquisition strengthens Kerry’s capability to provide integrated customer solutions across all food and beverage end use markets.

Cargill Flavor Systems employs 700 people throughout its integrated flavour development and application centres in France, the UK, South Africa, India, Malaysia, China, the USA, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Brazil, supported by a network of sales representative offices in 12 other countries.

The acquisition was completed on 1 December 2011.
