With a host of leading industry businesses participating at our 2026 World Confectionery Conference, our line-up is finalised by Nzubechukwu Anisiobi, of agro-export firm Sunbeth Global Concepts, reports Neill Barston.

He serves as chief operating officer for the Nigerian business, which has operation across Africa, Dubai, and the UK, engaging in trading operations around the globe.

Registration for this year’s event at the America Square conference venue in central London on 10th September is now open, which is being handled by our dedicated website, where you can see our full event line-up.

This year’s conference has been built around its core pillars of sustainability, industry innovation and business resilience, featuring keynotes from Caobisco European confectionery trade association, Ferrero, Cargill, and insights from Euromonitor international.

As a key leader for Sunbeth, Nzubechukwu provides strategic direction for the company across operational functions to ensure excellence in execution and alignment with growth and sustainability objectives.

According to the business, he has been instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening internal controls, and driving cross-functional collaboration.

Under his stewardship, Sunbeth has refined its supply chain operations, deepened partnerships with farmers and buyers, and reinforced its commitment to ethical sourcing and traceability.

Furthermore, Nzubechukwu is passionate about value creation and sustainable development, playing a key role in advancing Sunbeth’s mission to empower producers and contribute to global food security and economic growth.

Editor Neill Barston welcomed the company to our line-up for our event in London, which is the first time the business has staged the event in the UK since 2023.

“Ingredients and commodities including cocoa and palm oil have formed a particularly notable area of coverage for our title over the years, so it is excellent to have a well-established business in agri-export such as Sunbeth joining our ranks to complete our conference

“The real strength of our event has been in its genuine diversity in seeking to include companies from right across the full value chain of our respective confectionery and snacking sector, so our fifth event is shaping-up to be a fine edition indeed.

“For anyone who may have missed the early bird rates, registration remains open for the event, and we welcome participation from across the entire sector – whether you’re a student or apprentice just starting out in the industry, through to middle and senior management within companies, this really is an event reflecting the complete industry, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all shortly in London.”
