AAK strengthens group management

18 January 2011 – In order to create better conditions for organic growth as well as acquisitions, to better face future competition, and to strengthen a necessary internationalisation, AAK has expanded group management with four persons.

Edmond Borit, currently managing director for AarhusKarlshamn Latin America; Jean-Marc Rotsaert, currently president for AarhusKarlshamn USA; Octavio Díaz de León, currently managing director for AarhusKarlshamn Mexico, and Karsten Nielsen, currently director of application and product development in the business area chocolate & confectionery fats, have been appointed new members of AAK’s group management.

"These changes are a natural step in the preparations for taking AAK to new levels. The strengthening of group management will lead to an efficient organisation that better takes advantage of our product portfolio on a global scale and creates clearer conditions for global growth," says Arne Frank, AAK’s CEO and president.

In connection with these changes, Ian McIntosh, president UK & Americas has decided to pursue opportunities outside AAK. The above changes took place on 12 January 2011.
