Plamil delivers caffeine hit with Coffee Bean confectionery chips

Plamil Foods has confirmed a major new launch for the business, with its Vegan Chocolat division creating its Coffee Bean Confectionery Chips designed for bakeries, snack and dessert manufacturing, writes Neill Barston.

As the company confirmed, they have been made w with real coffee beans, in a similar way to chocolate, designed to create a smooth, creamy texture with a genuine coffee kick.

According to the business, the new series offers a  aolution for adding real coffee flavour, enabling companies to replace coffee flavourings with real coffee for authenticity.

The series, which follows hot on the heels of last year’s Coffee Bar series launched by the Kent-based business, has been considered suitable for use as an inclusion, drizzles, coatings and decorations.

According to the company, it has been developed with no allergens, is suitable for all, including vegetarians and vegans, and is made at its BRCGS certified factory in Folkestone.

Coffee Bean Confectionery Chips are available in two bulk sizes: 1 kg bag – price: £19.680 per kg (standard trade rate), as well as 7.5 kg bulk pack – price: £106.38. (Quantity Discounts available = 2-4 Cases = 5% , and 5-9 Cases = 9% and 10+ Cases =12%).
