US artisan chocolate business Kilwins has released a luxurious new treat in the form of Dubai Chocolate truffles, marking the fast-approaching World Chocolate Day on 7 July, writes Neill Barston.
As visitors to last month’s Sweets and Snacks Expo noted, luxury viral chocolate phenomenon has taken the globe by storm in the past year, withe the Indianapolis event showcasing a number of manufacturers’ efforts in gaining a slice of the action.
For its part, Kilwins, newest truffle reimagines the flavours in a decadent, bite-sized form. Inside, a rich pistachio filling is paired with crispy kataifi—a traditional Middle Eastern pastry made of finely shredded phyllo dough—for a unique texture and flavor experience.
Moreover, as the business observed, each truffle is coated in smooth, decadent Kilwins Heritage Chocolate, available in both Milk and Dark Chocolate.

Due to anticipated high demand, Kilwins has set a purchase limit of six Milk Dubai Chocolate Truffles and six Dark Dubai Chocolate Truffles per customer. This limited-edition release is expected to sell out quickly. The brand is exploring additional production runs based on customer response.
