8 November 2010 – Hosokawa Bepex celebrated the inauguration of its new Technology Center on 4 November 2010.

Ter Braak, Bepex-Hutt and Kreuter customers will be able to test the range of equipment of these brands under one roof in the modern building, which has taken 14 months to construct and €4.5 million investment.

Products can be realised 1:1 under real production conditions and existing processes can be optimised. Trials can be completed on technology from raw material handling to the final product for a variety of confectionery and bakery products including candies, bars, pralines and cookies

Besides test and demonstration facilities, a level dedicated to factory acceptance tests of lines with customer final product has been created on a total of 2500 square metres.
