An inviting series of Christmas chocolate creations has been unveiled by UK premium chocolate brand Montezuma’s, as the brand continues to grow its profile within the British market, reports Neill Barston.
As the company explained to Confectionery Production, its team near Chichester, West Sussex, has been working hard on preparing nostalgic Advent calendars, cheeky snowmen, and other festive favourites in a bid to capture the spirit of the upcoming holidays.
The business has released limited edition chocolate selection boxes, which include its ‘Deck the Halls’ Truffle Collection, white chocolate hollow snowman with buttons, peanut butter snowballs, caramel snowballs, and a very special Rebel without a Claus, 90g chocolate bar that form just some of its seasonal stars.
Notably, the company, which has its manufacturing base at Birdham in West Sussex, has also released a number of other key items for the critical Christmas season. These include a striking series of advent calendars that are being offered in several formats, including organic milk chocolate, organic dark chocolate, as well as a butter nut variety.
Moreover, the company is also adding some addition confectionery sparkle in creating a vegan Christmas gift boxes, plus a limited edition marzipan stollen, its milk chocolate salted caramel ‘half moonies’ solid bumps, and a milk chocolate hollow snowman for good measure.
The company, which was developed on strong sustainability principles by Helen and Simon Pattinson in West Sussex, has continued to show a strong pattern of development in both online and physical retailing with its core stores in the South of England. While its founders have reportedly stepped away from the business no longer directly connected to its operations, the firm has continued momentum after being acquired in the summer of 2023 by the Paramount group, who had purchased it from Edinburgh-based equity company Inverleith.
Katie Whapshott, head of marketing for the business, enthused that prospects for this year’s festive season appeared promising for the company. She commented: “Our Christmas collection this year is all about festive indulgence with a clear conscience. At Montezuma’s, we pride ourselves on creating chocolates that are as ethical as they are delicious, so every treat in our holiday range is made with pure chocolate – no compound ingredients and absolutely no palm oil. Our packaging is also designed to tread lightly on the planet, being 100% recyclable, biodegradable, or compostable. From nostalgic Advent calendars to our handmade Stollen and seasonal bars, our collection is crafted to bring joy and sustainability to the holiday season.”
