Kerry confirms major distribution deal for its European operations

Kerry has confirmed Azelis and Caldic as distribution partners for its products to selected customers in the European region, including applications developed for the confectionery sector, reports Neill Barston.
As the business noted, the move to engage the experience operators will extend the reach of the Irish-headquartered firm’s portfolio, enabling the supply of more customers with Kerry’s industry-leading products and technologies.
Caldic will operate in South Europe, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Nordics and Benelux while Azelis will have responsibility for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe, within the food, beverage and meat sectors.
Kerry will continue to operate direct sales across the region to its established and target customer base. Commenting on the announcement, Thomas Hahlin Ahlinder, CEO Kerry Europe said: “Today’s announcement is an important step for our business in Europe, as our new partnerships with Caldic and Azelis will help improve the delivery of our core technologies across the region. We selected these partners due to their extensive experience and we anticipate this partnership will provide increased access and additional choice to a larger number of customers”.
