Theegarten-Pactec lined-up for VDMA sugar confectionery packaging webinar

German confectionery packaging specialist Theegarten-Pactec is set to participate in a webinar series on confectionery processing, organised by the country’s food processing and packaging engineering association, the VDMA.

The online event takes place on 27 May, between 2-4pm, central European time, including presentations from several key sector specialists.

Titled “Sugar confectionery processing and packaging”  Theegarten sales director Daniel Schibur will be contributing with insights on packaging of soft jelly products. He will be joined by other industry experts including Volker Guennel, area sales manager, Chocotech, dedicated to the processing of nutraceutical jelly, as well as Andre Weins, area sales manager, Winkler+Dünnebier WDS, on  elevating confectionary to nutraceuticals.

A total of six webinars are being staged by the VDMA, with the first earlier this month. The second on developments within snacks is due on 10th June, which includes a presentation on new technology for low fat chips from Markus Bartels, general manager at Walterwerk Kiel, and sustainable modern snacking from Sebastian Schmieade, of Hebenstreit.

This will be followed by a webinar based on baked goods, exploring packaging and processing issues. This will include a focus from Christian Werner, of Hebenstreit, andMartin Rössler, Sector Manager Bakery, Albert Handtman. There are further sessions on confectionery and baked goods later in the year.
