Love Cocoa seeking to deliver some seasonal cheer with its Christmas collection
UK-based ethical luxury chocolate brand Love Cocoa has put the finishing touches on its Christmas range of chocolate confectionery, which includes its first ever advent calendar.
Promising an indulgent, grown-up chocolate affair, the eco-savvy business has committed to planting three trees for every calendar sold as part of its ‘Plant A Tree’ initiative. The calendar will be available from Ocado and Love Cocoa from October, available at £20.
Founded by James Cadbury, the great-great-great grandson of John Cadbury, the company remains true to its roots with its approach to manufacturing. Its distinctive illustrated A3 calendar showcases quintessentially British icons through the ages, ice skating on the Thames. Think William Shakespeare, the Queen, James Bond, The Spice Girls and Mo Farah, to name just a few.
Featuring Love Cocoa’s best-selling signature flavours (Gin & Tonic 71% Dark Chocolate, Sea Salt 70% Dark Chocolate, Orange Milk Chocolate, Colombian 41% Milk Chocolate, Peruvian 70% Dark Chocolate, Salted Caramel 41% Milk Chocolate – see Notes to Editors for individual product descriptions), as well as its celebrated truffles (Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Raspberry Champagne). And the calendar not only looks and tastes good, it’s completely plastic free and 100% recyclable.
Love Cocoa continues to go from strength-to-strength and is now a £1million brand, with permanent listings recently secured in Ocado. Love Cocoa’s Christmas Collection also includes a Giant Christmas Pudding Milk Chocolate Bar – £16.00/500g This bar weighs in at a whopping 500g, (approx. A4 size) pairing finest single origin 41% milk chocolate from Colombia with a generous helping of fruits and nuts.
There’s a smaller Christmas Pudding Bar along with a Gingerbread 71% Dark Chocolate Bar and a Peppermint Bark 35% White Chocolate Bar – all merrily packaged and perfect stocking filler sizes – priced at £4.50/75g.
