Duyvis Wiener opens new laboratories

Duyvis Wiener has opened two new laboratories in response to consumer demands to carry out tests with customer specific ingredients. This has enabled the company, which produces machines for the production of cocoa, to separate the cocoa and chocolate processing.

The chocolate lab is specifically designed for recipe development and lab scale production, whilst in the cocoa lab, tests and trials are performed using lab scale cocoa processing equipment. It is also possible to undertake tests and trials with different oil containing seeds.

The laboratories feature the new all-in-one QChoc machine that can produce real chocolate. Guests were able to taste chocolate produced by the QChoc at the opening of the laboratory, whilst the machine is also available to clients to perform in-house tests at their own facilities.
