Mrs Tilly’s expands listings with Co-op

Mrs Tilly’s has secured additional business with the Co-op in Scotland following a deal that will see the confectionery maker introduce new flavours and formats to the range.

Mrs Tilly’s will add four tablet and fudge products to the Scottish Co-op range.

The deal, which is expected to generate around £250,000 annually in additional sales for the firm, sees Mrs Tilly’s move from direct store delivery to depot delivery.

Managing director Blair Paterson said the deal comes as the company has “made significant investment in our production capabilities to ensure we can maintain our strong growth – both at home and internationally”.

“The coming months will also see us launch of a number of new lines across the market including a range of gluten free All Butter Toffee as well as a range of premium gift tins and as always quality is at the forefront of everything we do.”

Co-op category buyer Jonathan Grey added, “We’re changing the game in terms of our Scottish confectionery range and Mrs Tilly’s is a key supplier for us in delivering this goal due to their superior product quality.”

Mrs Tilly’s products are free from gluten, additives, preservatives, sulphites and GMOs and are suitable for vegetarians.
