Union fights United Biscuits

There are to be talks between unions and management at UK manufacturer United Biscuits (UB) after the company proposed to move its financial department from UK to India with the loss of more than 50 jobs.

The maker of McVitie’s and Jaffa Cakes, among other products, has begun a consultation process and says it has made no final decisions.
