World Confectionery Conference Brussels - 12 September 2024

With globally-significant developments coming thick and fast across the confectionery and snacks sector in terms of new product developments and policy, this year’s World Confectionery Conference will have plenty of major talking points to contend with.

April is our final month for early bird visitor rates, so pleased do make the most of these discounts while they are there, and ensure your place at this must-attend annual gathering.

We’re pleased to say that we are now down to our final few speaker positions at for this year’s event, so thanks indeed to all those who have committed to being part of it so far – across equipment, finished products, wider industry systems and ingredients, as well as major policy arenas concerning our combined industries.

So if you’re interested in playing your part as a speaker (these are commercial positions alongside our keynote presentations), then please do get in touch with my colleague Dave Johnson at [email protected] urgently by the end of the month in order to take advantage of the best rates possible for our well-respected industry gathering. There are also additional tabletop exhibition spaces available as a further valuable element of the conference. (registration, as previously, is via our dedicated site, www.confectioneryconference,com

This year’s event sees a key move from our previous home in Brussels, to London, on 10 September, with America Square conference centre right in the heart of the city, playing host to our event.

As previously noted, we will be aiming to further that engaging spirit of discussion, debate and evaluation of our combined industries, which has continued to offer a strong networking platform for all strands of our sector within the value chain.

Among our highlights of this year’s showcase will be its returning centrepiece QandA examining sustainability within the confectionery sector, with particular note to its cocoa supply chains – which have been much under threat in recent times. We’ll also look at how companies are continuing to adapt to wider market challenges as we move into ever-more digitally dominated times.

In addition, we also keenly anticipate entries for this year’s World Confectionery Awards, which will be presented at our event this year in London, so please don’t be shy in coming forward to place your entries across our six categories, from equipment, ingredients, finished product, team of the year, emerging enterprise of the year and sustainability initiative of the year categories. Again don’t be shy in putting forward entries – while our final deadline will fall in the summer, this July, we warmly welcome early entries across our accolades (which are entirely free to enter), as this helps the process considerably (please enter via our dedicated website at confectioneryconference.com

So we keenly look forward to your feedback, entries and registration across the event – if you’ve any questions about our 2026 show, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll fill you in with any additional details. This year is our fifth live conference, and we continue to find the experience of engaging with key members of the industry hugely rewarding, so we’ll look forward to welcoming you to London this September.
