Theegarten-Pactec shows continuous and solid growth
24 October 2011 – The demand for Theegarten-Pactec’s packaging machinery and turnkey solutions for the packaging of small pieced confectionery items is higher than ever. The order volume for 2011 is expected to be well above that of last year which equates to continued growth for the fifth consecutive year. The company also anticipates moderate growth in turnover. The number of employees has also increased to approximately 320.
“Due to our global presence, we were able to compensate for the slow economic situation across the continents”, explains CEO Markus Rustler (pictured). This year’s interpack fair was used to refresh existing business relations and to bring about new customers, although other national exhibitions in various countries also contributed to a stimulation of business contacts.
Theegarten-Pactec pays particular attention to the human element as a crucial factor for success and this is not just as a result of the current national lack of skilled personnel. The company invests into the further education of its employees and involves them actively in the business development. The reward of these efforts is an extremely low staff turnover rate. Currently, Theegarten-Pactec employs 21 apprentices, mainly mechatronic technicians and milling machine operators. Upon completion of their apprenticeships they will be permanently employed and will work in different departments of the company.
