Fruit flavoured confectionery brand, Hi-Chew is hoping for a demonically divine Halloween with its latest Mystery Mix limited edition assortment release as a flagship offering this spooky season, writes Neill Barston.
As the company explained, the limited-time assortment features three fan-favorite flavors, including Green Aplle, Cotton Candy, Orange Creamsicle, plus one unkonwn chew lurking beneath the shadows of every bag, waiting for its jolt of discovery.
Disguised as an all-white chewlet, the never-before-revealed flavor adds an extra layer of intrigue, turning every chew into a deliciously fun taste-testing adventure.
Adding to the mystery, HI-CHEW’s mischievous mascot, Chewbie, receives a monstrously fun Halloween makeover, appearing on the packaging in a Frankenstein’s Monster-inspired costume. Surrounded by creepy crawlers and spooky surprises, Chewbie’s transformed look offers fans a glimpse into the mad-scientist-inspired mystery waiting to be discovered inside every bag of HI-ChewHalloween Mystery Mix.
“Today’s consumers are looking for more than just flavor innovation. They want fun, engaging snacking experiences that spark curiosity and excitement,” said Teruhiro Kawabe (Terry), Chief Representative for the USA and President & CEO of Morinaga America, Inc.
“HI-Chew Halloween Mystery Mix delivers both, combining bold flavors with an element of surprise that transforms candy into a playful guessing game. The excitement of not knowing which flavor awaits inside every wrapper makes each chew even more fun, and we’re thrilled to give fans a uniquely interactive way to enjoy Hi-Chew this Halloween season.”
The excitement doesn’t end with the first chew. This Halloween season, HI-CHEW will invite fans nationwide to put their taste buds to the test with a flavor-guessing challenge inspired by the all-new Mystery Flavour, which continues until the end of the month.
According to the company, the new line is available in 5.6 oz and 11.6 oz stand-up pouches at major retailers nationwide, including Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and many other stores.
