Italian premium confectionery business, the Witor’s Group, has confirmed experienced sector professional, Troy Pearley as its executive vice president of sales for North America, writes Neill Barston.

He joins the business having most recently been EVP at Divine Chocolate USA, as well has having previously served in senior leadership roles with Godiva, and Ghirardelli, among other key companies.

Significantly, Troy was admitted to the Candy Hall of Fame in 2022, and has been a senior member of the National Confectioners Association, taking an active interest in the development of the region’s industry.

As Witor’s noted, for his latest post, he is set to support the development of the Group’s business across the North American market, helping to strengthen commercial partnerships and identify new growth opportunities.

From its comparatively humble origins in Cremona, Italy, in 1959, the business has grown significantly over the decades, and is now exporting to a total of more than 80 countries.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to expand the Witor’s Spa Italy Brand into the North American Market. We make great premium chocolate products that taste delicious and are affordable. I can’t wait to meet and discuss the Brand with our future and current trade partners”, said Troy Pearley.

Notably, Timur Hatipoglu, Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer at Witor’s, welcomed its latest appointee to the business, which has continued to exhibit at a number of key shows around the world, including the most recent Sweets & Snacks Expo event in Las Vegas.

The company has continued to expand its areas of interest within the broader category, having launched Harry Potter themed chocolate bars, cookies, as well as classic Italian Biscotti.

Among its other areas of specialism, the company has devised its own series of pralines, in addition to confectionery themed gifting boxes.
