Fruit fillings range relaunched

Dawn Foods has relaunched its ready to use fruit fillings range to make it easier for bakers to choose the product that best suits their requirements and budget.

The new look Dawn Delifruit Fruit Fillings range, which incorporates over 20 different flavours, many with origin fruit, and various packaging sizes, features three tiers of product grouped according to fruit content:

• Delifruit Xtra – a premium product with a 90% fruit content, this range includes freshly peeled, sliced or diced Belgian Jonagold apples with fresh fruit compote as the binding agent in 11kg buckets.
• Delifruit Classic – a broad range of fruit fillings with 58-70% real fruit content, preserved for extended shelf life. With whole origin fruit (except passionfruit and raspberry), such as Senga Sengana strawberries, Canadian blueberries and Montmorency red cherries, the fillings are available in 2.7kg tins.
• Delifruit Daily – an everyday range of fruit fillings with up to 50% fruit content, these deliver the same great taste but with a lower fruit content. As well as favourites such as Strawberry, Apple and Lemon, the Delifruit range includes Fruits of the Forest, Dark Cherry and Orange fillings.

Dawn’s Delifruit Fruit Fillings range includes the highest quality fruits sourced from accredited and controlled fruit processors. The inclusion of origin fruit is in tune with consumer interest in product provenance and can be used as a USP on finished product.

Bake/freeze and thaw stable, Delifruit Fruit Fillings can be used straight from the bucket or tin for use in many different kinds of cakes, desserts, sweet pastries, pies and mousses.
