Confectionery depositor
4 July 2011 – A new generation ServoForm confectionery depositor has been introduced by Baker Perkins.
The depositor features a fast, automatic cleaning cycle that requires much less labour than manual cleaning. The washout system is placed and withdrawn automatically and the washing and flushing cycle is pre-programmed and carried out with no operator intervention. Additional features make the machine more hygienic and easier to clean throughout, with clip on drain components, angled covers and hygienic feet and locks.
Start-up time has been reduced by the introduction of on-the-run adjustment for mould lift under the depositor head. This adjustment helps to minimise product waste and previously required the machine to be stopped. Companies producing a variety of products on a single line will now see a reduction in the time taken to achieve full production.
The versatile one shot technology of the ServoForm depositor enables solid, striped, filled and layered hard candies, soft confectionery and lollipops to be deposited in up to four colours or components.
