Two at a time
17 May 2011 – Tanis Food Tec has introduced a multipurpose system to run any two fillings at the same time on one line.
Especially helpful for the confectionery and biscuit industry where aerated creams and mallows are often combined with jelly in one sandwiched product. It gives producers a compact, self supporting production line with a small foot print.
Examples of such product combinations that can be run simultaneously in one product include:
• Cake bars, candy, cereal bars or biscuit sandwiches with a combi of caramel and jelly, cream and jelly, or marshmallow and jelly
• Co-extruded products like marshmallow and caramel, or marshmallow and jelly
• One shot, centre in shell, deposited products like incapsulated
marshmallow (marshmallow and jelly); tea cakes (marshmallow and jelly); cake bars (cream and jelly)
