Dairy-free chocolate brand, PLAYin Choc gains key M&S retail listings

Dairy free chocolate brand, Playin Choc has attained a key commercial milestone through gaining listings at Marks and Spencer Foodhalls in the UK, writes Neill Barston.
As the business explained, its formula remains relatively straightforwad of supplying ‘rich creamy bars made with just three plants’ and sourcing cocoa from Peru.
Designed to be organic, vegan and free from all 14 major allergens, the team behind its development has insisted that it is ‘uncompromising on taste’ and has welcomed its next stage of development.
Its dairy-free JustChoc Boxes have launched into over 500 M&S Foodhalls, and its popular Woodland Animals ToyChoc Boxes are now available in 140 stores nationwide – introducing even more families to its combination of delicious chocolate, thoughtful play and sustainable design.
Furthermore, its ToyChoc Boxes pair its chocolate with an educational 3D puzzle toy and fun fact card, creating a little moment of discovery alongside every treat. In terms of its packaging, this has been developed to be 100% plastic-free that’s fully recyclable and compostable.
Speaking about the deal with M&S, the company said: “For generations, M&S has been known for putting quality first – from carefully sourced ingredients to products designed to bring a little joy to everyday life. That’s why this launch feels like such a natural fit for PLAYin CHOC.
“We’re proud to see our dairy-free chocolate boxes sitting on the shelves of a retailer that shares our passion for exceptional food, thoughtful design and products that make people smile. This launch marks an exciting new chapter for PLAYin CHOC, and we couldn’t be happier to bring our award-winning dairy-free chocolate to even more people.”
